The first piece was conceived and produced with different metal working techniques such as plasma cutting, grinding and arc welding. The natural textures and the weight this piece brings it to life.

Temperatures will drop well below zero degrees as Winter approaches, so we’ve designed and fabricated a greenhouse that will carry some of our favorite crops on to the next year.

This year, as part of our efforts excercise sustainability, we planted a wide array of crops including Brassicas (Mustard family), Papilionaceae (Peas), Chenopodiacea (Beet), Asteraceae (Lettuce), Solanaceae (Night Shade), Umbels (carrot family), Allium (Onion family), Cucurbetaceae (Cucumbers) and many herbs in the Ten Animals backyard.

The greenery throughout the garden enhances creativity and when we’re in need of a much deserved breath of fresh air… or to compliment our salads!

A lot of hard work went into setting three 4′x4′x2′ beds, two 5′x2’6″x2′ beds and several other surrounding patches.

The planting process made for a great collaborative project and reminded us about the importance of being surrounded by nature in order to keep our ideas in order.

We allowed the surrounding plants to grow enough to preserve the “meadow” look. It looks a lot more interesting that a plain old green lawn that’s for sure.

All plants have been raised organically and allowed to be pollinated freely, which attracted the most diverse local wild life throughout the year.
